Configuring Outlook Express

If you are experiencing problems viewing your attachments this may be because of your Outlook Express security settings.

You may modify these as follows but should only do so providing you have up to date anti-virus software on your computer. Our attachments are virus free but you may open yourself to attack from other sources.

To turn off this option, go to the menu bar and select "Tools" > "Options" and click this. You will be given the Options dialog box.

Click on the "Security" tab. You will see a checkbox beside the text that reads, "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus.

Uncheck that box and then click "Apply", then "OK" to deactivate this feature. You will now be able to open your attachments.

Providing you maintain your anti-virus software you should have no problems in leaving the settings as above. However, should you have any concerns over your anti-virus software please do not deactivate this feature and contact us by telephone to receive a hard copy of the documents.
